Crashes

Ya it crashes every time I try to open it

Crashes

I think this sounds like an amazing game but it keeps crashing before I can even start playing it

Awesome...until you have to pay

I was really enjoying this game, but very disappointed to discover the you had to pay in order to continue. $3.00 per episode? I dont think so. Unless youre willing to pay for each new episode, dont bother starting this game in the first place. Its kinda sad especially since this game has LGBTQ representation, and would most likely reach a wider audience if you didnt have to pay for new episodes.

Episode 4

I just purchased the latest episode but when I click play it shows me nothing but a white screen! This game is really amazing but I hope this bug is fixed soon!

Too expensive:(

I love this game but was very disappointed to find 3 dollars per episode I cant afford that I understand the need to make money but i wish it was less expensive

Big fan but...

I love this game and the idea of it. I kinda feel like the episodes shouldnt cost, because people like me cant afford it

Worth every penny!

This game is charming, positive, beautiful- it even has a theme song! The episodes are, in my opinion, pretty cheap for the quality that they are. Excellent, excellent work. Thanks for making this queer kid a little less lonely.

Plz!!!

Please make the full game free, I love the game in all but please make it free! Pretty please!

Absolutely Amazing!

This game is amazing. I love all the Lgbt inclusiveness and I did not miss that Over the Garden Wall reference!

Cant wait for the next chapter!

I love how LGBT+ friendly this game is! There are very few games like this. Thanks to the developers for doing that! The game is charming and very engaging. I highly recommend it! Just a heads up: if you want to play the other chapters, you have to pay for them.

Cute game - not worth the price tag

So the first episode is free, and subsequent episodes each cost $2.80 (Canadian). I wish there was an ETA for the last two episodes. Definite points for inclusivity, and the art/writing is really cute.

Cute idea but too expensive

Very cute concept but way too expensive. I cant fathom paying for every episode considering I got through the first one in less than a half an hour. I love the fact that theres queer representation but if they wanted to sell it just sell it.

Love it!

This game is really fun to play!! But hey Ive been trying to pursue Marcel all throughout and I thought my character was dating him, until in episode 5 Nora asks me who I have a crush on despite already dating someone and Marcels name doesnt even come up. It doesnt affect their relationship does it? I worked very hard to get him to like me XD

Cute but..

The game is cute and I like the fact that its lgtbq supportive. But Id rather pay for the app initially than pay for each individual episode.

Love the app!

Love the app but dont like paying for every episode. All episodes should be free to watch. Ill choose Episode rather Long Story now.

Teaches about social situations, including peer pressure and bullying

Have completed episode one about six or seven times, and so far so good. There is definitely a general thread that youre funnelled into, but making different choices allows the player to experiment with different approaches to some interesting social situations, like passive-aggressive bullying, dealing with friends who arent on good terms with each other, pressure to conform to gender stereotypes, being a witness to bullying, and so on. Although I intended it for my fairly mature 11 year old, my 7 year old really likes the game as well, and so far it seems very suitable for both age groups. There is a modest amount of reading on each screen, but little typing -- just highlight the dialogue you want to use. Gender roles and diversity is one theme in this game, but so far not the primary one. I think thats quite important in making the game interesting. Cant wait to see how further episodes are. Absolutely recommend it.

Good, to a point.

Its a great game, really. The LGBTQ options are just amazing for a game like this, its really just unique. However, I agree with a previous review; I would rather pay upfront than pay for each episode seperately, especially if the episodes are almost three dollars apiece. To quote Shark Tank: for that reason, Im out. ((More customizeable appearance stuff would be great too...))

Great story but expensive

The story is very well written with the exception of a few typos I picked up on in Episode 1. The array of choices & LGBT inclusivity (you can play as a cis-gender or transgender heterosexual, homosexual, asexual character and be addressed as "he", "she" or "they") should make it appealing to a wide audience. Your choices throughout the game determine what happens next, and if at any point you dont like the outcome of a choice, you can go back and remake it. However, each episode is extremely short & doesnt get you ahead very much in the story, which is perhaps to be expected since the name of this app is "Long Story". Ultimately for $2.79 per episode it is extraordinarily expensive surpassing other games of its caliber in the App Store and this will perhaps be a barrier to it reaching the LGBT and asexual youth who would really benefit from it. You should consider in-app purchases of each "season" as opposed to each episode.

Crap

You have to pay for each episode.... No thanks. Ill be playing Episode instead. Its free.

Like the idea

My main problem is the resolution is completely broken, its too small on an already small screen (5s). It doesnt fill the screen, and because of this text and other ui elements get covered by one another. Little sad, heard about this and was excited.
