No Real Choices
I thought the first chapter was cute, and liked that the game is lgbtq+ friendly, so I bought the second chapter... And it became obvious in Ch2 that my characters decisions literally cease to affect the progression of the story in any meaningful way. I spent the whole game being nice to people, but my character was later confronted for all the negative actions I didnt select, and the only options at that point were basically for her confess apologetically or confess aggressively as if shed done/said those things. Most notably, I specifically avoided a dialogue option containing a slur, but the game disregarded that choice and progressed as if that option had been the one selected. Why make us choose actions when the game just follows a predetermined route and completely ignores our choices? I tried replaying it, and the game always goes the same way no matter what the player character does or says. If I want to have a main character whose actions I have no influence over, I can just read a book instead of playing a game that pretends to give us choices. Cute art, though.
